📚 Difference between much, many, a lot of, (a) little, (a) few, some, any, and no

Quantifier	Used with...	Example
much	uncountable nouns	How much water do you drink?
many	countable plural nouns	How many apples are there?
a lot of	both countable/uncount.	She has a lot of friends / time.
(a) little	uncountable nouns	There is (a) little milk left.
(a) few	countable plural nouns	I have (a) few friends in the city.
some	+ positive, offers/req.	We have some questions. Would you like some tea?
any	questions / negatives	Do you have any money? I don’t have any.
no	replaces “not any”	There is no time left.
